My writing philosophy is pretty simple. I believe we live stories every day. Some people take a shine to writing those stories down always tinted, and sometimes saturated, with healthy doses of hyperbole. I'm one of those types. Writer, Hyperbolist, Poetic Licensee, call me what you will. Just don't call me after nine. I go to bed early.
I'm the author of two published novels for children. I was born and raised along the mighty Mississippi River in Bettendorf, Iowa. When the river flooded one summer, it washed me west to Iowa City where I currently live and work with my wife, my son, and our ornery terrier. I also freelance as a writer and editor of content all and sundry.
